Coll de Sa Batalla

Coll de Sa Batalla is Mallorca’s most important mountain pass. We always cycle through this spot. This is where the café is, where countless cyclists rest and enjoy coffee and croissants. It is our favorite café too!

2012

Our first time in Mallorca! Unfortunately, there are no photos of the café from that year.

2013

The first year that many people from Russia came to Mallorca.

2014

Lena’s first time in Mallorca.

2015

In 2015, we held a large triathlon camp, but we do not have photos with many people—only a very peaceful atmosphere.

2016

Another year with a triathlon camp. We brought a Russian doll (a matryoshka) as a gift from Russia.

2017

Andreu was changing jobs and had to stay in Moscow, but Lena led the triathlon camp. Our gift that year was a wooden whistle shaped like a bird.

2018

Another great year! Our keepsake that year was a wooden bear with a barrel of honey and a spoon.

2019

And another great year! Our gift was a wooden horse painted in a traditional Russian style.

2020

Covid 🦠

2021

Another year of Covid 🦠

2022

War 😢

2023

We moved to Finland! Life was not easy, but we needed something positive to recharge and regain our strength. That year, we brought traditional souvenirs from Finland.

2024

Andreu had to stay in Lahti, but Lena returned to Mallorca once again. Lena brought a traditional Finnish gift: Joulupukki, which means “Yule Goat.” Historically, Joulupukki was a goat, but today the name also refers to Santa Claus.

Miguel gave Lena a very special gift: olive oil in a five-liter bottle! Now Lena is figuring out how to take it back to Finland by plane ✈️.

The olive oil reached Lahti in smaller bottles. It is very special and tastes of Mallorca!

To be continued!
